Auctioneers put everything on the block for most people, moving a home and businesses from one state to another are likely to cause endless hours of packaging, garage sale and disposal.
Is all art negotiable?
I like to make a copy of a vintage and antique graphic design, such as advertisements and posters. For example, if I 'm a poster or an ad that I like, I reproduce it as closely as possible by hand. Is their a market for it? like is it legal for me to sell my work? or is it one way or another plagiarism.
The term is "copyright infringement." It is not illegal for you to make close copies of old art for your own use. To sell them is another matter. If they are still under copyright, or if they contain trademarked images, they do not belong to you, and you can not sell them. I am sympathetic. What you should do is to read up on copyright and trademark to the visual artists, and then make sure any work you do to sell, based on the original, which is too old to be in copyright, and you can not duplicate any existing trademarked images.

Decoding Advertisements $17.49 Judith Williamson does not simply criticize advertisements on the grounds of dishonesty and exploitation, but examines in detail, through over a hundred illustrations, their undoubted attractiveness and appeal. The overt economic function of this appeal is to make us buy things. Its ideological function is to involve us as ‘individuals’ in perpetuating the ideas which endorse the economic basis of our society. If economic conditions are the ones that make ideology necessary, it is ideology which makes those conditions seem necessary. In order to change society, the vicious circle of ‘necessity’ and ideas must be broken.
