First and foremost I would like to ask, Is it true that id you have been with Sky for more than 12 months and then you decied you want to continue sky you do not have to go on a contract and you can onlt get them for a month if you want or more but not 12 months contract? If this is true, If you had a second hand sky box from someone and they bought a new card and some channels for you as well, but then would you pay them back for the card and the channels, but the official pre-onwer of the sky box that has been with sky for more than 12 months would pay for it. Does this mean the card and channels would work on this second hand box and there will be a contract or you could do it after month after month? Or maybe get the same channels they have? I have also heard of the Multi-Room Would you have to subscribe to Multiroom or is there a way around this such as buying a card from a private seller as a store, etc. ….. instead of heaven. Thank you for your help.
If I understand your question, which is a little confusing. If someone gives you a second hand sky box, but they cancel their subscription before they have had it 12 months they will be required to pay the rest. If they give you maps and box and continue to pay and you pay them back, so as long as the field is in the same geographical area that would work, but any pay-per-view, etc. would be charged to their account. If you subscribe to something new or multiroom they re-tie you in with another 12 months contract. Legally the only way is to subscribe to multiroom package, you can buy one off fee around £ 12 a Freesat card which gives you basic channels for free!
