I cheated by a magazine company.?

Basically I get seven magazines a month through a company that provides discounts on subscriptions. Times are tough now and I recently got my hours cut, and has had to cut back. I tried to cancel, but the company said I have to stick by my order of one-year subscription that does not end until March, and will continue to make monthly direct departure from my bank account. Here is what I am considering: I simply close the bank account. So they have nothing to charge? Could I do it? I mean, I do not think they would have a case to sue me because if I stop to pay them, they obviously stop sending the magazines and if they stop sending the magazines, so they no longer offer a service for payment. Plus it is my considers that only thinks as loans and credit card bills affect your credit. Then I could just close the bank account?

You've got leaves on a rebate based on your promise to sign a full year. If you stop to pay early, you are guilty of breach of contract. If you close your bank account, you'll find yourself getting a bill in the mail for the balance due and possibly a penalty for the broken bank draft. Failure to pay doctors, electric, gas, or telephone bills, a negative Paypal balance or any unpaid debts, including unpaid subscriptions can all be reported on your credit and will affect your rating.
