U.S. magazine service – Scam NOT TRUST!?

A lady called me that I was finally a part of one million U.S. dollars from subscription to use my Visa credit card and that along with that there were other offers such as a diamond watch and magazine subscription orders. She said I only had to pay for two subscriptions for a four year period. I had given her my credit card info already when they called me back later and told me the price I would pay. Over 40.00 a month for 16 months for four magazine subscriptions. It is ridiculous, so I told them that I wanted to cancel the order and they refused me. They said they can make the payment less the amount, but longer, but no cancellation can be done, so I accepted. I was confused because he talked so fast. So I went to look up the website and there were complaints about everything. I tried to call and complain to refuse to cancel my order, but no one picked up. So I canceled my credit card and asked for a new one. What else should I do? I'm scared now, what I got me.

Never give your credit card numbers over the phone unless you really know who you are dealing with. If an offer sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. There are all kinds of telemarketing scams around these days. You should always be careful when dealing with these unwanted phone calls. I have a caller display home. I never answer all out of range or 800 numbers. Call the credit card company and make sure they cancel these transactions. Legally, you a few days cooling period.
