How to pay a magazine subscription from the Philippines to the U.S.?

I'm planning to subscribe to Psychology day magazine, which is based in USA. I live here in the Philippines, and I do not have a credit card, but I am willing and able to pay. I wrote an email to the magazine and someone there kindly replied that I can pay with U.S. funds. My problem is I can not send U.S. dollars in the mail because it could be "lost" in the mail, which means that the subscription payment, I sent will not reach the office of the magazine. Does anyone know what is wiser and better alternatives to send payment so it will actually reach the office? Thanks in advance for answers.

You have a couple of different options, provided they send the magazine to the Philippines, which I assumming that they probably will. There are Western Union to wire money. But I do not know if they will accept it. They can. A second and third option for you would just be to get an international money order, and send UPS or FedEx, as I know operates in the Philippines. I would do it and include a letter and your contact information and just tell them you want a subscription to mag. You can get tripped up with Western Union thing. They may not be accustomed to taking it as payment. Try it. I do not think you will have trouble using UPS or Fedex. When the mag gets the money, they will process your order as they usually do, unless they can not deliver to the Philippines. If so, they will not cash money order. A company which will not take money and not send you the mag.
