Which online magazine subscriptions are real and not a scam?

I bought two different magazines subscriptions from netmagazines and five months later found out that it is a scam. My credit card company refunded my money, but I would still like to know if there is no online magazine subscriptions, actually works.

I have never paid a mag subscription through a third party. My Subscriptions are free rewardsgold and mycokerewards redemption. But some of my friends got their subscriptions directly from the mag and site through Amazon.com and Magazines.com.
