Outdoor or Field and Stream?
Hello! I'm trying to decide which of these magazines to get a subscription to. What are your personal favorites and which one do you think is better? Also tell what you like about it. Which one is more about conservation, not just hunting? Thanks
They both are "sister" leaves means that they are very similar, but covers various topics at different times, because a lot of people just to both (like me). Both have equal amounts of conservation materials. I personally prefer the Outdoor Life, because it has a greater focus on camping and fishing less (I am a die hard hunter). But whatever magazine you select, you will not be disappointed.

Field & Stream once worked with Sierra On-Line and Dynamix to create hunting and fishing simulation games.Founded in New York City by Charles Hallock in 1873 as Forest and Stream in newspaper format measuring 16" x 11", it published many articles by George W. Sears in the 1880s that helped to popularize canoeing, the Adirondack lakes, self-guided canoe camping tours, and what we today call environmentalism. The magazine merged with Field and Stream in 1930.Field And Stream is part of the Hunting family of magazines. It is generally sold to individuals and businesses and quite often can be found in a reception room or waiting room of a company or a professional office like a dentist, doctor, health club, gym, or beauty and hair salon.
