I am a college student and my school doesn't have a very large art department. I used to take art classes but I dont have any this semester. I really love art and I've needed a resource (preferably a website) that lets me enter what's going on in the art world. I wanted to get a subscription to ARTnews, but I can not afford it right now. I am former magazine websites and some museum websites dont really help. Also library access kinda hard. Anyone know any good websites or tips?
Hey, I do not want to insult your spirit as a artist, but are you talking about what is "sales" in the art world right now? I am a professional artist, and if you want to know what is going on SALE library and look at magazines like Architectural Digest, Veranda, Colonial Homes, Southern Living, Decor, etc. It's crass, it's selling out, but if you want to live on, what you love most – making art – you'd better do what the Renaissance masters did – and find out what the rich people buy.
