Why can a woman do this, but it is not acceptable for a man?
My wife and I are in our early 30s and has been married eight years since college. My wife has always complained about my look at women online or in magazines. She threw a Maxim I had recently purchased. I respect her feelings and has avoided it here as much as I can, although I like sometimes. One thing bothers me, is that over Christmas she told me she wants me to get in shape and also got me a subscription at Men's Health. I have enjoyed the magazine and has worked out, but I've realized that she has been "using" the magazine itself when I'm not home. She To read it, but confessed when I asked her that she likes the cover and pictures inside best. Is it fair? If she can look at these things, why can not I? I want to bring it up to her again in the discussion, but I do not want to do it without having thought about it. Is it different for a woman to do so than for a man?
from a woman's perspective ….. id have to say that when you look @ other women online or in magazines, it makes us feel the way you want us to imitate them, and these women are incredible and FAKELY beautiful in my opinion.so it disturbs us and hurts our self-esteem, because we feel that we can never live up to those standards .. or never look like these women. and when yu are looking @ them it makes us feel like your looking @ them because thats what you wish we looked like … and it makes us feel like to crap on ourselves. my advice is to let her know that you love her just as she is.that you dont want her to change anything. but as far as her looking @ guys … idk … maybe shes doing it because you were looking @ maxim .. and perhaps a way for her to get back to you. (Just a guess) because every time my husband tells me a woman on TV er''hot''i deliberately start telling him all th guys I think er''hot''bare to see how he feels
